Other Appearances[edit]

Video Games[edit]

  • The male version of Robin could appear as a playable character in Codename S.T.E.A.M. after scanning a Robin amiibo.
  • In Yoshi's Woolly World, a Yoshi design based on Robin's appearance could be unlocked by scanning an amiibo of Robin.
  • In Super Mario Maker, the male version of Robin appeared as one of the Mystery Mushroom costumes that Mario could potentially transform into. His costume could be unlocked through a random prize for completing a 100 Mario Challenge on Expert or harder, or by scanning an amiibo of Robin.
  • Robin appeared as part of the playable cast of Fire Emblem Warriors. The male version was featured, with the female version being an alternate skin that had to be unlocked through History Mode.

Super Smash Bros.[edit]

In the Super Smash Bros. series, Robin has been included as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U and Super Smash bros. Ultimate. Their appearance in the game is based on their default appearance from Awakening, and the player can choose to play as the male or female version of Robin through their alternate costumes. They are notable as being the first Fire Emblem character to appear in the series to wield magic instead of just being the sword fighter. Robin fights with the Levin Sword and spells cast from tomes.

In imitation of the gameplay of Fire Emblem, Robin's sword and tomes break after enough useages, with a meter appearing to indicate how much life a weapon has left in it. When tomes break, they will need time to recharge before being used again, and the Levin Sword would be replaced by an unbreakable Bronze Sword if broken. Robin's Final Smash involves Chrom appearing for joint attack known as Pair Up. This Final Smash remains unaltered after Chrom joins the playable cast in Ultimate. In Ultimate, Robin has to be unlocked through the game's variable-based system for unlocking characters, or by being awakening in Adventure Mode (where he was found at Dracula's Castle). Robin's Classic Mode route in this game was called "Thunder and Flames". The battles followed the themes of fighting other opponents who fought with fire and/or electricity, with the last pre-boss battle being against a Robin of the opposite gender. The final boss of this route was Master Hand (with Crazy Hand on higher difficulties).

They are also represented by two trophies (plus a trophy of their Final Smash in the Wii U game) in the 3DS/Wii U game and two Fighter Spirits (one representing each gendered version) in Ultimate.

Trivia[edit]

  • "Robin" is the default name of the character in Awakening and is used for all of their appearances outside of Awakening.
