King Bulblin and his mount, Lord Bullbo are respectively the leaders of the Bulblins and the Bullbos. Both are recurring enemies throughout Twilight Princess.

Background

King Bulblin and his mount first appear in Twilight Princess at Ordon Village where he found Link, Ilia, and the other kids at the fountain outside the village. King Bulblin kidnapped Ilia and the children and simply clubbed Link in the head and took off. Despite kidnapping them, he apparently found no use for them and abandoned them. The kids ended up in Kakariko Village and Ilia in the Hidden Village.

Link later rescued the kids in Kakariko Village, but shortly afterwards King Bulblin arrived on the scene and snatched up the boy Colin and mounted him on his lance. Link chased him down to the Great Bridge of Eldin and engaged in a joust with him. King Bulblin was dismounted and thrown off the bridge, but still managed to survive the fall.

Later King Bulblin crossed paths with Link again while he tried to transport Ilia and Telma to Kakariko Village. In order to get through, Link and King Bulblin dueled on top of the Great Bridge of Hylia. This time he was better protected, but fell to Link's arrows rather than his sword. Afterwards, while Link was in the desert, he infiltrated a Bokoblin camp, but was discovered by King Bulblin. For the first time the two engaged in a battle on foot, this time the king wielded a large axe. After being defeated, he set fire to the camp and escaped, but Link managed to escape.

The two fought for one last time at Hyrule Castle, where King Bulblin and his minions had set up defenses around the castle. Link engaged the king on foot again and defeated him again. After being defeated, King Bulblin spoke for the first time saying, "Enough. I follow the strongest side! ...That is all I have ever known." He then escaped, but was seen during the ending credits riding around Hyrule Field with other Bulblins.
