Hair color | Brown (White in Japanese version) |
Debut | Advance Wars |
Background[edit]
Born in a small village in Blue Moon, at some point he moved to Orange Star where he joined the army and rose in the ranks thanks to the way his troops performed in snow. He then left Orange Star to join Blue Moon's army again, taking the position as commander of their forces. When Sturm invaded, he made some sort of deal with Blue Moon - he would invade Orange Star and earn some reward in return. After being double-crossed by Sturm, he helped bring down the Black Hole forces.
When Sturm invaded again, Olaf was only too ready to rid Black Hole from his country. Together he and Andy was able to take down a missile platform and later he was witness to Lash's evil destruction of his hometown. He remained in Macro Land during Black Hole's invasion of Omega Land.
Olaf is a serious combatant with great skill. Though he is often called a pompous braggart. Often he is too proud to admit his wrongs or that he needs help. However, he is very loyal to his country and to his allies. For that, he is greatly respected by his peers and admired by his people.
Gameplay[edit]
Like Andy, Olaf is a balanced CO in that his units have no advantages of disadvantages. However he gains a power boost (120% offense) in the winter snow, as well as being unpenalized by the effect of winter. As such, both his CO Powers deal with causing snow.
- Blizzard - Olaf's regular CO Power, which causes it to snow for two days.
- Winter Fury - Olafs Super CO Power, which causes it to snow for two days and deal 2 HP Damage to all enemy units.
