Background

Nell's younger sister did not quite manage to rise as quickly though the ranks (not as lucky it seems).She was charged with leading Orange Star (and eventually the Allied Nations) in the Omega war. Before it even began she was training their newest CO, Jake. Since he was seemingly her first student, they become friends.

Despite being a little new to the scene, she likes being taken seriously. Such is the case when Max is unwilling to take orders and when she is challenged by Grimm and Sensei. Nevertheless, she led the Allied Nations through the dangers and eventually defeated Von Bolt and the Black Hole forces.

Gameplay

Rachel is a CO possessing a diverse and unusual set of talents. Her units are otherwise balanced, but her units recover 3 HP a turn (effectively using 1.5x the amount of funds to heal each turn).

• Lucky Lass - Rachel's regular CO Power, increases her luck by an unspecified amount.
• Covering Fire - Rachel's Super CO Power, automatically fires three missiles at the largest (most expensive) concentration of enemy units.

Trivia

• In Advance Wars DS, Rachel acts as the game's 'narrator', taking over the role Nell served in the previous two games.
