Background

A brilliant inventor, known as the "wunderkind of Black Hole", among her creations are the Laser Cannons, Black Cannons, and Deathray. It's possible she was also responsible for the Neotanks, Minicannons, and the Giant Missile Launcher. She was ordered to take over Blue Moon, but was overall unsuccessful. Afterwards she provided military help a few times after, but mostly only offered her technological expertise afterwards. Lash has a strange personality. She views war as being no different than a game of chess. She's always wanting to add extra options to her inventions (such as self destruct) but usually never gets to because of delays.

She improved her profile later on with her inventions of the Black Boat, Black Bomb, and Piperunners. Although continually harped on by Kindle, she had no objections to helping the Bolt Guard in their draining of Omega Land's resources. It was only until that Von Bolt turned on her than she escaped with Hawke and joined the Allied Nations. For the most part she got along poorly with the rest of them (depite Jess trying to educate her in table manners). After the defeat of Von Bolt, she was the only Black Hole CO let working with the Allied Nations. Whether she stayed on the path of 'good' or returned to her old ways remains unseen.

Gameplay

Not only does Lash gain the usual defense benefit on terrain (+10% defense for each star), but she also gets a 5% attack bonus for each terrain bonus. Her CO Powers also take advantage of terrain, making her a mostly defensive CO.

• Terrain Tactics - Lash's regular CO Power, eliminates terrain penalties so that units get no movement penalties.
• Prime Tactics - Lash's Super CO Power, doubles the amount of defense gained from terrain stars and eliminates terrain penalties so that units get no movement penalties.
