Krookodile is a deadly crocodile-like Pokémon introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the third and final form of Sandile's evolutionary line.

Information[edit]

Krookodile evolves from Krokorok at Level 40. Krookodile are known for their vicious and intimidating nature. They never let prey escape, and they have jaws powerful enough to crush automobiles. It also seems to have the same protective membrane around its eyes as Krokorok, which protects the eyes from sandstorms and allows it to see in the darkness through heat sensors. Krookodile can also expand the focus of their eyes in order to see objects far away as if using binoculars.

Appearances[edit]

Mainstream Games[edit]

Krookodile has not been found in the wild and can only be obtained by evolving a Krokorok.

Other Games[edit]

In Pokémon Rumble Blast, Krookodile appeared as an antagonist working under Cobalion, and it stole the Glowdrops from Toy Town and Easterly Town. It was battled as the boss of the Mysterious Fort and later rusted at World Axle Front in the last portion of the game. After the ending, it could be recruited at the desert area of the Rugged Flats. In PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond, Krookodile appeared as the Gate Keeper for Cove Town and was befriended through a battle once the player had Samurott's permission to go to the Arbor Area. The Krookodile was described as being a "shy boy" instead of the "bad boy" it appeared to be, despite Krokorok perceiving and admiring the latter persona.

Other Appearances[edit]

Other Media[edit]

  • In the Pokémon anime, Krookodile has so far only made a brief appearance in the opening of the fifteenth movie.

Trivia[edit]

  • Its name is a pun of "crocodile" combined with a play on "crook".
