Andrew Oikonny is the nephew of Andross and his only living relative.

Background

Due to his connection, he was admitted membership into team Star Wolf, despite his inexperience as a pilot. The Star Wolf team encountered Star Fox on Fichina while leading a fleet of Venomian ships, at which point Andrew targeted Slippy Toad (as the rest of the Star Fox team exceeded Andrew in skill). Despite their advantage, the Star Wolf team was defeated. They fight again on Bolse, only to lose yet again. After most of Andross's forces had been defeated, Star Wolf arrived to defend Venom and were defeated yet again.

Andrew was later kicked out of Star Wolf and then worked to get revenge for his uncle. Nine years after Andross's initial defeat, Andrew was able to organize the remains of the Venomian force and launched an attack on Fortuna. However, he was swiftly defeated by the arrival of the Star Fox team and the unexpected arrival of a giant Aparoid creature. He was not seen after the battle.

Oikonny survives however, and returns in 'Star Fox Command' leading seiges on Fichina. He faces Fox, Slippy, and Lucy Hare in his new Death crab mech, boasting that the Anglar Emperor begged for his assistance. Even after being shot down, Oikonny continues to taunt the team, but is ultimately ignored.

Trivia

• His robotic ship in Star Fox Assault was no doubt fashioned after Andross's form.
• In the Beta version of StarFox 2, Andrew was instead a lemur-like creature named Algy.
