Hydreigon is a three-headed floating dragon-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the third and ultimate form in Deino's evolutionary line.
Information
Hydreigon evolves from Zweilous at level 64. It is a brutal Pokémon that gains six wings and an extra head from its evolution. Hydreigon frequently uses its wings to travel through the skies. Hydreigon's two extra heads do not contain brains and act as arms. It is uncertain whether the two Zweilous brains merged together into Hydreigon's brain or were otherwise disposed of during the evolution. Hydreigon interprets anything that moves as a foe and will attack it. It uses all three heads to consume and destroy everything.
Appearances
Mainstream Games
Hydreigon has not been found in the wild and can only be obtained by evolving a Zweilous.
Trivia
- Its name is a combination of "hydra" (a multi-headed snake monster from Greek mythology) and "drei" (which is German for three due to it being the third form and German numbers being a theme in this line's naming) with "dragon".
