Samurott is an armored aquatic Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the third and final form of Oshawott's evolutionary line.

Information

Samurott evolves from Dewott at Level 36. In this form, it becomes quadrupedal with a webbed tail as well as armor on its head and legs. Part of the armor on its anterior legs can be used as a giant sword, one swing of which can fell an opponent. Samurrot's cry can intimidate most enemies, and its glare silences everyone nearby.

Appearances

Mainstream Games

Samurott can only be obtained through evolution.

Trivia

  • Its name is a combination of "samurai" (referring to the samurai influence on this Pokémon which is more notably present in Dewott) with "otter".
