The Smoky Progg is a special type of creature that appears under special conditions in Pikmin.

A black and white ghostly creature that kill Pikmin with a poisonous gas it constantly emits. This hidden boss is found in the Distant Spring before day 15 on an island formation. It stays inside a large pinkish egg that when touched, and breaks free within a matter of seconds. The Smoky Progg is followed by a cloud of noxious fumes that will suffocate and kill anything that enters the cloud; hence, the only effective way to attack one is to strike from the front.
