Debut Pokémon Colosseum

Venus is one of the four Cipher admins who appears as a boss in Pokémon Colosseum.

Background[edit]

Venus operated in The Under, where she became a celebrity both to advance Cipher's goals and to satisfy her ego. She hosted the Under Time and was admired by most of The Under's criminals. Venus also used The Under Subway to smuggle Shadow Pokémon from the Shadow Pokémon Laboratory into The Under, at which point she distributed them to local thugs as well as to her colleague Miror B.. Venus was also given her own legendary Shadow Pokémon, a Suicune.

Eventually, Venus received word that Wes and Rui had defeated Dakim and infiltrated The Under. Venus used the Under Time to spread propaganda that a spy had infiltrated The Under in order to turn the criminals there against Wes and Rui, but this plan failed. They instead captured Silva, one of the friends Wes had made. Wes and Rui eventually stormed the television studio and defeated Venus in a battle. Venus proceeded to retreat and successfully escaped on the Shadow Runner train, although she accidentally dropped a key to it in the process.

Venus showed up again at Realgam Tower, where all four admins protected the path onwards. She battled Wes and Rui again when they arrived, but she was defeated again. Crying that she did not want to do this anymore, she surrendered the Blue ID Badge to them under the conditions that they did not speak of defeating her and left, already pretending the battle had not happened. Afterwards, she could appear as an opponent at the Deep Colosseum.

Trivia[edit]

  • She is named after the Roman goddess of love.
