Garbodor is a gigantic trash Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the evolved form of Trubbish.

Information[edit]

Garbodor evolves from Trubbish at Level 36. It resembles a gigantic heap of garbage. They even absorb garbage to make it part of their bodies. Its two arms are different due to the different amount of materials that compose its body. Garbodor can shoot a poisonous liquid from its three right-hand "fingertips", and it usually usually uses its left arm, which is primarily a pipe surrounded by garbage, to clench opponents. They finish enemies off by breathing a foul-smelling gas at them.

Appearances[edit]

Mainstream Games[edit]

In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, Garbodor could be uncommonly found at Route 9.

Other Games[edit]

In Pokémon Rumble Blast, it could appear at the tower of Firebreathing Mountain, but only after the game's ending. In PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond, Garbodor inhabited the Unawarehouse at the Tech Area and was recruited through a battle.

Other Appearances[edit]

Other Media[edit]

  • In the Pokémon anime, a wild Garbodor was featured in one episode of the Unova series where it was disturbed by a Gothita and proceeded to attack nearby Pokémon until it was calmed down by the Aromatherapy of a trainer's Deerling.
  • In the Pokémon Adventures manga, a Garbodor was shown as one of the wild Pokémon that came to play with Alder.

Trivia[edit]

  • Its name is a simple combination of "garbage" and "odor".
