Bronzor is an ancient metallic Pokémon that was introduced in the fourth generation games. Its evolved form is Bronzong.

Information[edit]

Bronzor is a floating disc-shaped Pokémon of mysterious origins. Implements shaped like Bronzor were discovered in ancient tombs, but it is unknown if they are related. Researchers have also attempted to check its body structure using X-Ray photos, but it came up with no results. It is believed that Bronzor reflected like a mirror in the distant past, and ancient people also believed that the pattern on Bronzor's back contained a mysterious power.

It will evolve into Bronzong at Level 33.

Appearances[edit]

Mainstream Games[edit]

In Pokémon: Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, Bronzor was commonly found at Wayward Cave, and it was rarely found at Route 206 (or 211 in Platinum), Mt. Coronet and Turnback Cave, being more common in Platinum. In HeartGold and SoulSilver, Bronzor would uncommonly appear in any of Kanto and Johto's caves when the Sinnoh Sound is playing on the radio, and it could also appear at the Safari Zone's Peak area if enough Rock and Forest objects were present. Bronzor could also be caught at the Pokéwalker's Icy Mountain Road and Winner's Path courses, from which it could be transferred to HeartGold/SoulSilver.

In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness, Bronzor could be recruited at the seventh through twelfth basement floors of the Spacial Rift. In Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, it appeared at the Hippowdon Temple. It also appeared in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs at Daybreak Ruins and the Thunder Temple. In Pokémon Rumble, it was found at Eternal Tower. Bronzor also appeared in PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure at the Granite Zone, where it guarded the way to the pyramid.

Other Appearances[edit]

In Other Media[edit]

  • Bronzor has appeared in several episodes of the Pokémon anime starting in the tenth movie followed by the Sinnoh series. Saturn and Mars of Team Galactic have both used Bronzor in battles, and Byron also used one during his gym battle against Ash.
  • In the Pokémon Adventures manga, Bronzor made an appearance during the Diamond/Pearl arc as one of Mars's main Pokémon. It initially acted as a guard when Mars was in control of the Valley Windworks.

Trivia[edit]

  • Its name seems to be a combination of "bronze" and "mirror".
  • Bronzor 's body is notably symmetrical from nearly every perspective except with its back, although its back was also symmetrical in an unused sprite.
