Gameplay[edit]

Using the same engine as the previous game, this game once more has the player assume the role of a transparent wireframe boxer who must take on and defeat five champions to become world champion of the Wold Video Boxing Association. Ports and Remakes[edit]

  • In August 2020, this game was made available as a downloadable purchase for the Nintendo Switch, as part of Hamster's Arcade Archives series.

Sequels[edit]

The next game to be released was Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! for the NES, which included some boxers from this game. Super Punch-Out!! for the Super NES followed some years later, although it is not really a remake of the arcade Super Punch-Out!! and not all of the boxers from the arcade game reappear in the Super NES game.
