Murkrow is a Dark crow Pokémon introduced in the second generation Pokémon games. It originally had no evolutionary line, but it was discovered to evolve into Honchcrow in the fourth generation games.
Information
Murkrow is a Pokémon that is feared and hated by many due to belief that it will bring misfortune to all who see it at night. It has also been said that when chased, Murkrow will lure their pursers to dark mountain trails or forests, where they will get lost. They have a strong interest in anything that sparkles will even try to steal rings from women. Murkrow and Meowth have been known to steal from each other's stashes of shiny objects.
Murkrow is a primarily nocturnal Pokémon and, according to the Johto games, is apparently capable of mimicking human speech. It evolves into Honchcrow when exposed to the Dusk Stone.
