Count Bleck is a new character introduced in Super Paper Mario, who may be the main villain for the game. He appears to kidnap Princess Peach near the start of the game, an act that Mario and Luigi attribute to Bowser. When they head to Bowser's Castle to confront Bowser and discover the truth, Count Bleck shows up, hands Mario a beating, and kidnaps Luigi and Bowser as well. He takes them back to his home dimension of Flipside and forces Bowser and Peach to get married, causing a rift in the time-space continuum that threatens to destroy everything. Mario then heads to Flipside to stop him, joining up with Bowser and Peach in the process.
