During The Wind Waker, Bokoblins made up most of Ganondorf's pirate forces. They were scattered around the Great Sea in different locations, particularly on rafts and Pirate Outposts. They also operate thed searchlights at Forsaken Fortress.
They wielded a variety of weapons in battle, such as machetes and Boko Sticks, and they could even make makeshift weapons out of telescopes that they used when on lookout. Bokoblins were also often known to hide within pots and other objects in attempts to ambush their enemies. However, Bokoblins on guard duty also tended to be sluggish, and they fell asleep on the job often. Green Bokoblins also had shields.
Twilight Princess
Bokoblins appeared early in the game. Blue Bokoblins wielded wooden clubs and were defeated with ease, but Red Bokoblins wielded swords and took more hits to defeat.
