Andrew Oikonny is the nephew of Andross who appears as a recurring enemy in several Star Fox games.
Background[edit]
Due to his connection to Andross, he was admitted membership into team Star Wolf, despite his inexperience as a pilot. They began to battle Star Fox throughout Star Fox 64, with Slippy Toad acting as Andrew's rival. The Star Wolf team encountered Star Fox on Fichina while leading a fleet of Venomian ships. Despite their advantage, the Star Wolf team was defeated. They fight again on Bolse in one path, only to lose yet again. After most of Andross's forces had been defeated, Star Wolf arrived to defend Venom, and they were defeated a last time.
Andrew was later kicked out of Star Wolf and then worked to get revenge for his uncle's demise. Nine years after Andross's initial defeat, Andrew was able to organize the remains of the Venomian force and launched an attack on Fortuna in the first level of Star Fox Assault. However, he was swiftly defeated by the arrival of the Star Fox team and the unexpected arrival of a giant Aparoid creature, which ravaged his ship.
Oikonny returned in Star Fox Command, where he led seiges on Fichina. He faced Fox, Slippy, and Lucy Hare in his new Death Crab mech, boasting that the Anglar Emperor begged for his assistance. Even after being shot down, Oikonny continued to taunt the team, but he was ultimately ignored.

- In the Super Smash Bros. series, Andrew has been represented as a sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, a trophy in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U and as a Primary Spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. His sticker and Spirit were both represented by his Assault artwork. When fought in Spirit battles, Andrew's Spirit would possess Diddy Kong.
Other Media[edit]
- In the Lylat Wars comic based on Star Fox 64, Andrew and Pigma were portrayed as being afraid of Andross's wrath and being punished for their bumbling failures. They tried acting on their own, resulting in Wolf opening fire on them and kicking them out of Star Wolf for disobeying his orders.

- His robotic ship in Star Fox Assault was fashioned to resemble Andross.
- In the Beta version of Star Fox 2, Andrew's existence was preceded by a lemur-like creature named Algy, who appeared as a member of Star Wolf on harder difficulties.
- He cries out for his Uncle Andross whenever being shot down in Star Fox 64 and Assault.
- Andrew appears in sticker form in Super Smash Bros. Brawl (using art from Assault) and in trophy from in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U.
