Shelgon is an armored dragon Pokémon that was introduced in the third generation games. It is the evolved form of Bagon and evolves into Salamence.
Information[edit]
Bagon evolves into Shelgon at Level 30. Shelgon has an armored shell body that is covered with bone-like outgrowths. Within its shell, Shelgon's cells are constantly changing to create an entirely new body, that of a Salemence. The armor is tough enough to repel most enemy attacks, but it also makes Shelgon heavy and somewhat sluggish. Shelgon usually hide away in caverns while awaiting evolution and endures hunger to become hardier. Shelgon's shell peels off at the moment it begins to evolve.
Shelgon evolves into Salamence at Level 50.
