Tasha (or Zadia in the PAL release) is a commander in the Lazurian Army following the Meteor Crisis in Advance Wars: Days of Ruin.

Background[edit]

War against Rubinelle[edit]

Before the meteor crisis, she was the Wing Commander of the Lazurian Airborne. When the world fell into ruin, she and her brother managed to survive. But their peace was not long-lived, as Lazuria was attacked by Admiral Greyfield who saw fit to carry on the war for the New Rubinelle Army. The resulting attack led to the death, prompting Tasha's hatred of Rubinelle and her determination to see them all defeated. She joined up with the Lazurian Army which was formed in light of the attack.

She served under General Forsythe and fellow commander Gage. While they remained largely within Lazurian territory, Tasha crossed over into Rubinelle in her quest for vengeance. One of her targets ended up being Waylon, a Rubinelle pilot cut off from the army. Before she could close in on him, a Rubinelle remnant force showed up, the 12th Battalion led by Captain Brenner. Due to their interference, Tasha was forced to abandon her quarry and withdraw.

Not long after she found another isolated Rubinelle target, Davis. However before she was able to capture him, Brenner intervened once again. Although she had the means to eventually defeat them, Gage arrived with orders from Forsythe for her to withdraw. In the next battle, she engaged the 12th Battalion after they had joined up with Greyfield. Before the battle could begin, she was contacted by Will of the 12th, who tried to tell her the war was over and there was no reason to fight. At first she thought that he was John, but quickly realized her error and declared she would have her revenge, even if he was just a child.

Joining Brenner's Wolves[edit]

Following her defeat, the war continued to go badly for Lazuria. Eventually General Forsythe was defeated and surrendered to Brenner. Despite Tasha's protests, they were ordered to surrender as well - on the condition that Brenner saw to it they were not harmed. While Forsythe negotiated their surrender, Tasha readied herself for execution, but Will had no interest in her death. However Greyfield did and had Forsythe executed, with the intention of finishing off the other Lazurians afterwards.

Not willing to renege on his promise to Forsythe, Brenner left command to Lin and ordered her to get the Lazurians to safety. Tasha was doubtful of his sincerity, but she came to admire Brenner after she saw him lay down his life to allow them to escape. Afterwards she decided to dedicate revenge on Greyfield rather than all of Rubinelle. Within time, she became an active commander of the 12th Battalion. When they were attacked by Tabitha, Tasha took command and was able to destroy the Talon Gun. The pursuit of Greyfield eventually came to a point where Tasha offered a solution to Will and Lin - hand her and Gage over. Will however refused it outright. Eventually though they defeated Greyfield, only to make a new enemy with Dr. Caulder, father of Tabitha and leader of Intelligent Defense Systems.

Before their battles with IDS could begin, Caulder offered to call off the battle if Isabella was handed over. Though Gage was willing to do so, Tasha disagreed vehemently, arguing that they'd just get double crossed like Forsythe did. Eventually Will left his post as commander, leaving Tasha and the other Lazurians to fend for theirselves. They were near the point of annihilation when Will and Lin returned with a full battalion, defeating Tabitha and rescuing the Lazurians. From there the final push was made and Caulder was defeated, finally resolving the war. With the war over, Tasha and Gage took on a more simplistic life, working on a farm and raising cows.
