The Spotty Bulbear is one of the toughest enemies in the grub-dog family. In pikmin 1 it sleeps and only has 1 and a half times more health than a spotty bulborb and is only found in the distant spring and in forest of hope in challenge mode. In pikmin 2 it is one of the most annoying enemies and some players may even find it more annoying than an Emperor Bulblax . It set a path in search for food (in this case pikmin) and lets Dwarf Bulbears tag along with it to make killing it more difficult. It also slowly regains it's health. Worth 10 pokos.

A midsize subspecies within the grub-dog family,the spotty bulbear's unqiue feedding habits set it apart from other grub-dogs. The spotty bulbear patrol a set path searching for prey, instead of passively feeding on that wonder into a limited territorial range. When entering bulbear habiat, it is wise to proceed extreme caution until the bulbears patrol path can be clearly identified.

Louie's Notes For an unrivaled green cury peel away the spotty bulbear's skin, pulverize the juicy innards, and stew until curiously fragrant. Takes 10 pikmin to carry but worth 15 seeds in pikmin and 12 seeds in pikmin 2 or 10 pokos.
