Sound Voyager is puzzle game that relies heavily on sound. It was originally released as part the Japan-only bit Generations series for Game Boy Advance.

Gameplay[edit]

Soundvoyager takes complete advantage of the Game Boy Advance's stereo and therefore it's highly recommended to be played with headphones. While action happen on screen with the player represented by a gray dot and various other obstacles and goals represented by red, blue, and green dots, the general idea is to be able to play the game without looking at the screen and relying on sound cues. There are seven minigames in the set, all of them prefixed with the word Sound.

In Sound Catch sounds falls from the sky and the player uses the left and right button to center himself to catch it. In Sound Drive, players navigate a 5 lane highway while avoiding oncoming traffic. Sound Chase is similar to Drive with the addition of trying to chase down a specific sound that jumps from lane to lane. In Sound Cock, the player is put into a pen and is challenged to chase around the sound of a rooster. Sound Picker is similar to this except with various sounds bouncing around the pen. In Sound Slalom, players try to navigate a sound course. Finally, in Sound Cannon, players rotate in a full 360° circle to find and shoot down a sound.
