Servine is a serpentine Pokémon that was introduced in the fourth generation games. It is the middle stage of Snivy's evolutionary line, and its final form is Serperior.

Background[edit]

Servine evolves from Snivy at Level 17. Its arms and legs have become more leaf-like in its state, which makes it more like an actual snake. Although it still seems capable of walking on its feet, Servine prefers to slide along the ground on its belly. They use swift movements to befuddle their foes before attacking with a vine whip. They avoid attacks by taking cover in thick foliage, until they can retaliate with their masterful whipping techniques.

It evolves into Serperior at Level 36.

Appearances[edit]

Mainstream Games[edit]

In the color versions, it can only be obtained through evolution.

Other Games[edit]

In Pokémon Rumble Blast, Servine was found at at the autumnwood area of Volcanic Slope and the forest areas of Trailhead Field and the first basement floor of World Axle In PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond, it could appear at Cove Town and was befriended by battling it with Snivy.

Other Appearances[edit]

Other Media[edit]

  • In the Pokémon anime, a Servine appeared in one early episode of the Black and White series at a Battle Club where a Dewott was able to defeat it with ease. The rival character Trip also has a Snivy which evolved into a Servine before he even reached the first gym.
  • In the Pokémon Adventures manga, N had a Servine which he used for a brief battle with White's Tepig aboard the ferris wheel at Nimbasa City. While the Tepig ultimately abandoned White to join with N, the Servine wound up accompanying White for unknown reasons.

Trivia[edit]

  • Its name is a combination of "serpent" and "vine".
