Sedgar is character appearing as a playable unit in Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Tsurugi, Book One of Monshou no Nazo and Shadow Dragon, and as an enemy unit in Book Two of Monshou no Nazo.

Book One[edit]
Sedgar, Wolf, Vyland and Roshea were once plains people who were captured and sold into slavery. However, they were saved by Hardin. Out of gratitude for Hardin, they all became knights of Aurelis to serve under him. As such, they joined Marth's army with Hardin in Chapter 5 (4 SNES). After the war ended, he helped in rebuilding the Aurelis knights and became vice-captain of Wolf's newly-formed Wolfguard.
Book Two[edit]
Three years later, the Wolfguard was called into action in Chapter 18, being sent to ambush Marth's army at Adria Peak under Hardin's orders. There was some skepticism towards Hardin's orders mostly on Roshea's part, but Sedgar was convinced that Marth was an evil conqueror. Sedgar was either killed during the following battle or recalled by the king of Aurelis with the rest of the Wolfguard.
