The Leever is a minor but common recurring enemy from the The Legend of Zelda series.

Information[edit]

The Leever is a creature that is primarily found in deserts as well as some beaches, mountains and canyons. Leevers live underground and have cone-shaped bodies with a circular mouth at the top that is usually surrounded by four pincer-like appendages. Whenever enemies are nearby, they emerge from the ground and spin towards the enemies. Leevers move quickly and in large numbers, most likely to compensate for their individual weakness. They are said to absorb the energy of creatures that approach them. Leevers come have various different color differences depending on the games, with some versions being stronger than others while other differences include differences in movement patterns. The different colors have included red, blue, green and purple.
