Jody Summer is a pilot who appears in the F-Zero series, making her original appearance in F-Zero X. She is known for being an incredible athletic and as a member of the Galactic Federation's top combat pilots. She became an F-Zero pilot after the death of her father. Despite her inexperience she has become a top pilot and earned the admiration of her fellow pilots, especially John Tanaka.

In the GP Legend series, Jody is a member of the Mobile Task Force, a part of the Federation police dedicated to stopping Black Shadow and the Dark Million from using the prize money from F-Zero races to further their criminal plans. In the anime that accompanied the games, it is revealed that she is the sister of Captain Falcon.
