Elgyem is a mysterious psychic Pokémon of potentially extraterrestrial origin that was introduced in the fifth generation games. Its evolved form is Beheeyem.

Information[edit]

Elgyem was first seen in a desert (most likely the Desert Resort) 50 years ago and is believed to be of extraterrestrial origin. It is a mysterious blue Pokémon with green eyes and a large head. It has three differently color fingers (red, green and yellow) on each hand, and like its evolved form it probably communicates by flashing these fingers. Elgyem has powerful psychic powers which it can use to squeeze its opponents' brains to cause unendurable headaches. It evolves into Beeheyem at Level 42.

Appearances[edit]

Mainstream Games[edit]

In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, Elgyem is uncommonly found at Celestial Tower, being more common at its roof.

Trivia[edit]

  • Its name was made to pronounced as "L.G.M.", an abbreviation for Little Green Man, which is a term used to refer to a type of alien. This is due to Elgyem being an alien. Elgyem's story of being found in a desert 50 years ago also seems to be derived from the Roswell incident in which an alien spaceship was believed to land within the desert at Roswell in 1947.
