Seismitoad is a large amphibious Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the third and final form of Tympole's evolutionary line.

Information[edit]

Seismitoad evolves from Palpitoad at Level 36. With similar vibration powers as its previous form, Seismitoad uses vibration to hurt its opponents. They vibrate the bumps on their fists in order to increase the power of their punches, to the point where they are capable of shattering boulders to rubble with one punch. Seismitoad can also shoot a paralyzing liquid from its head bump.

Appearances[edit]

Mainstream Games[edit]

In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, Seismitoad can be rarely found within surfing spots at Route 8, Icirrus City and Moor of Icirrus.

Other Games[edit]

In Pokémon Rumble Blast, it acted as the boss of the Shimmering Lake's lake area and also appeared at World Axle's second basement floor. In PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond, Seismitoad appeared at the Arbor Area's Verdant Court and could be befriended through battle.

Other Appearances[edit]

Other Media[edit]

  • In the Pokémon anime, Seismitoad was first shown in one episode of the Unova series where a child trainer named Thane borrowed his father's Seismitoad from his father for Pokémon battles, but it did not always obey him due to his inexperience.

Trivia[edit]

  • Its name is a combination of "seismic" (in reference to its vibration powers) and "toad".
