The year is 1995 and people fear the impending end of the century. A boy visits Tokyo's "Devil Museum" after hearing a television fortune-telling show said he could meet the girl of his dreams there. He meets the girl, but an earthquake interrupts the meeting. The boy quickly recites an incantation to capture the girl's heart, but it really destroys the seal of a vase containing a devil. The devil steals the boy's body and the Time Belt. The boy's spirit has taken the Devil's appearance and is trying to get his body back.
