One of the primary sources of income in Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland are the various mixtures that Tingle can create on the kitchenette in his house. By collecting ingredients and recipes, Tingle can create specific dishes during a minigame in which he throws everything into a pot and must mix up the foodstuffs within a certain time. For these mixtures, stirring is not as helpful as dunking the ingredients with quick taps. Tingle begins with a pot that can only hold five items, limiting his cooking ability. Over the course of the game, the Waitress will offer to sell Tingle a good pot that can hold 10 items, and a big pot that can hold 15.

Completed mixtures are stored in a large tank in Tingle's house; from here he can fill the empty jars in his possession with the concoctions and use them as he pleases. Some can be used as weapons, while others can be sold in town for profit. A few mixtures are required to progress the storyline.

Recipes can be found on every island, whether by purchasing them from the locals or by picking them up from the ground and in chests. The recipe itself is not required to make the concoction it represents. However, collecting every recipe and showing them to the Chef will earn Tingle the Super Chef Hat, one of 30 Rupee Goods.

The following is a list of all recipes, including in-game descriptions, locations, and ingredients:

  • Scrap Broth

Oh dear. Things went a little wrong in the kitchen...
Scrap Broth is not a recipe itself, but is the result of any creation that uses the wrong ingredients or is not mixed in the set amount of time. It falls under the Soup category and can be sold to the Chef.

  • 01 Tingle Fireworks

Produces showers of beautiful sparks. Hopefully...

    • Bone x3

This recipe is obtained from Pinkle at the start of the game. It falls under the Firework category and can be sold to the Armorer for 36 rupees. When thrown, Tingle Fireworks will create a pinwheel that sprays sparks in all directions, but has no other effect. They must be used to get the Oink Flowers from Oinky Eve after her wedding.

  • 02 Tingly

Power-up potion. But you wouldn't want to drink it yourself...

    • Minced Meat x3
    • Ground Shell x2

This recipe is obtained from Missy after giving her Minced Meat and a Ground Shell to study. It falls under the Power-Up Potion category and can be sold to the Guard for 42 rupees. A Tingly can be tossed to bodyguards to restore four hearts of health. One must also be given to the Guard when his wife falls ill for the first time.

  • 03 Simple Juice

It may be very simple but it tastes very good.

    • Mini Orange x3
    • Crisp Tomato x2

This recipe is purchased from Bella for at least 150 rupees after she opens her shop. It falls under the Juice category and can be sold to the Journalist for 84 rupees. One Simple Juice must be given to the Journalist when he is first found in Cape Treasure to revive him and move him away from the Bone Dummy.

  • 04 Hand Potion

A pirate potion. Use on Hand Statues to be whisked outside in a flash.

    • Large Shell x1
    • Bamboozle Grass x2
    • Frizzy Carrot x2

This recipe is obtained from a pirate in the Pirate's Hideaway, along with a free sample. It falls under the Secret Potion category and can be sold to the Armorer for 50 rupees. When thrown on a Hand Statue found within dungeons, the Hand Potion will summon a Wallmaster to bring Tingle back to the dungeon's entrance.

  • 05 One Love

The sweet fragrance of this perfume makes it impossible to resist.

    • Aroma Toadstool x3
    • Heart Meat x4

This recipe is purchased from Chiko's Mum for at least 300 rupees. It falls under the Perfume category and can be sold to Bella for 110 rupees. If Tingle pulls out One Love near enemies, they will be drawn to its scent, making it easier to fight groups of enemies or catch evasive monsters.

One of the top items on the Chef's menu. Tingle can also make the same soup.
