==Speed Run==

Similar to the Speedy Comet in Super Mario Galaxy, [[Mario]] will have a time limit in which to complete an existing level during Speed Runs.  However, some levels will now start off with only 30 seconds, forcing the player to collect timers along the way to increase time by 10 seconds.  Unlike the first game, the timer stops once the level's objective has been met and the star has appeared.  Checkpoints can also be used, assuming they have not been removed.
