'''Numel''' is a volcanic camel-like Pokémon  that was introduced in the third generation games. Its evolved from is [[Camerupt]].

=Information=

Numel's body acts a cauldron filled with magma, which is stored in the hump on its back. The magma is nearly 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit and is the source of its tremendous power. Numel act as hardy Pokémon that can carry 2,200 pounds and have acted as load-bearing Pokémon for generations. Under cold or wet conditions, a Numel's magma will cool and harden. This temporarily makes its body heavier and its movements sluggish.

It can evolve into a Camerupt at Level 33.

In ''[[Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl Versions|Diamond, Pearl]]'' and ''[[Pokémon: Platinum Version|Platinum]]'', it appeared at Route 227 and Stark Mountain. In ''[[Pokémon: HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions|HeartGold and SoulSilver]]'', it could uncommonly appear at Ilex Forest and Viridian Forest when Hoenn Sound was playing on the radio.
