Mole Mania is puzzle game for the Game Boy.
Story[edit]
An evil farmer named Jinbe has kidnapped Muddy the mole's wife and children. A note from Grandpa Mole explains the situation. After reading the note, Muddy sets off to rescue his family.
Gameplay[edit]
The game uses a top-down perspective. On each screen, the player must figure out how to get the bomb to the stone blocking the way forward. To do this, the player must get it past enemies and over holes. One of the player's most important abilities is to dig underground, allowing them to bypass obstacles and enemies. Also, pushing cabbages into the hole earns the player bonus points.
Along the way, the player will find a hole where he can battle Jinbe and Grandpa Mole who will give advice. At the end of each level, there's a boss for the player battle.
