Kirby's Block Ball is a Breakout-like puzzle game starring Kirby for the Game Boy.

Gameplay[edit]

Within this game, Kirby acts as a ball, and the player controls four paddles which are used to knock Kirby back and forth. The goal is for Kirby to destroy all of the blocks in the area. There are a few twists on the formula was pressing A at the right time will launch Kirby with extra power to destroy seemingly unbreakable blocks, and the player can find power-ups. Some enemies also leave behind treats when defeated which give bonus points. There are also Warpstars which take the player to bonus games.

The game has ten different islands with multiple stages each, and each islands has a Borderline score which must be reached to unlock the boss battle.

Legacy[edit]

Ports and Remakes[edit]
