When moving things around his home, Pufftop Palace, [[Stafy]] and accidentally dropped an object into the ocean. A storm later blew Starfy away from the palace. He met with the old man [[Lobber]], who helped to show Starfy the way home and told him about the object that was lost, which was actually the Magic Jar which had sealed away the evil [[Ogura]]. Starfy set on a journey through the ocean back to his castle in order to seal Ogura away, and he helped others along the way who became his friends.
