Daigasso! Band Brothers is a rhythm game for the Nintendo DS. Development on the game began on the Game Boy Color and was moved to the Game Boy Advance, but it was decided that the input wasn't good enough for the game in both cases.
Gameplay[edit]
Players press down the correct combination of buttons in time with the instructions on screen to play a song. If the player choose to be a vocalist, the microphone is used.
The game features wireless multiplayer which allows two players to play in the same band even if there is only one game. The game also includes a mode that lets players create their own songs.
Daigasso! Band Brothers Request Selection[edit]
On September 26, 2005, Nintendo released Daigasso! Band Brothers Request Selection. The Request Selection was a Gameboy Advance cartridge that included new songs for the games.
Legacy[edit]
- Barbara the Bat would later appear as in Master of Illusion as well as an assist trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
- In 2008 the sequel Daigasso! Band Brothers DX was released in Japan. It wouldn't be until 2010 when it was finally localized as Jam With The Band.
