Czar Dragon was a boss battled in Barrel Volcano for the sixth Star Piece in Super Mario RPG. He is known for his comeback as the skeletal Zombone.
Background
Czar Dragon was monstrous and lived in the heart of the Barrel Volcano. Mario and his group eventually stumbled into Czar Dragon's lair while searching for the sixth of the seven Star Pieces. A large amount of fireballs emerged from the lava, combining to form the Czar Dragon. The monster took on Mario in battle and was defeated. It then fell into the lava and apparently died.
But the battle was not over yet. It emerged almost immediately in a skeleton-like state. This form was known as Zombone. Zombone was even more powerful in this form than he had been as Czar Dragon. Zombone continued battling Mario and his friends until he was destroyed for good. The Star Piece was found in the next area of the volcano, but it was swiped by the Axem Rangers.

Czar Dragon specialized in fire-based attacks. His special attacks included the fire attack Fire Wall, as well as Water Blast and Iron Maiden. Czar Dragon also had Special Defenses against Fire and Sleep attacks, but he had a weakness for Ice attacks.
Conversely, Zombone specialized in ice attacks. His special attacks were Blizzard, Blast and Storm. He had special defenses against Fire, Ice and all status-changing attacks. But Jump and Thunder attacks functioned as Zombone's weak points. Pure Water would also deal massive damage to Zombone.
