**General White is a white Bob-omb who lives in Fahr Outpost, where he designed a cannon powerful enough to shoot something to the moon.  The mayor of Fahr Outpost decided that that cannon should never be used, however, so General White left in disgrace to Petalburg.  When Mario is later seeking permission to use the cannon, he must travel to every place he's been thus far in search of General White... only to find him back at his home in Fahr Outpost.

**Ghost T. is a Toad who died on the Excess Express many years ago and now haunts Cabin 004.  The Conductor accidently left him a blanket on one trip and later asked Mario to find it for him.  After finding Ghost T.'s diary in the baggage cart, Mario traded it to him to get the blanket.  Though Ghost T. at first seemed to move on to the afterlife, knowing that no one would ever read his diary, he decided instead to stay and haunt the cabin a bit longer. Reading his diary results in an instant Game Over.
