Aimee is part of the band of merchants appearing in both games, who acts as the items merchant. In ''Path of Radiance'', they join the group in Chapter 8, and Aimee immediately takes a liking to Ike. In ''Radiant Dawn'', she was first seen in Chapter 1-3 where she and Ilyana were held in Glaive Prison, having been captured by corrupt Begnion officers while traveling through Daein. The Dawn Brigade helps them to escape, and they provide their services to the group. They later lend their services to the Laguz Alliance in Part 3, with Aimee resuming her flirtations with Ike (and Soren resuming his blocking of these flirtations). This continued in Part 4, when she traveled with the Greil Army. In this game she also held different rare items and weapons in her shop depending on the chapter.

Altina was one of the Three Great Heroes who battled Yune in the games' backstory. She was a beorc swordswoman and the original wielder of Alondite and Ragnell, which were blessed by Ashera. After the battle with Yune, she became the first empress of Begnion. She at first married Lehran, but a problem happened when she was impregnated in which Lehran lost his laguz abilities. This caused him to have a nervous breakdown and flee the public scene. At Lehran's request, he was announced dead and the birth rendered a rumor, while Altina remarried a beorc husband and passed off her and Lehran's child as their own. Her line of descendants would become the ruling apostle-empresses of Begnion, with the first daughter of every generation gaining the ability to hear the goddess.

Daniel is part of the traveling merchant convoy and the twin brother of Jorge. He is the group's craftsman who makes custom weapons. Within ''Path of Radiance'', the twins are featured in a pair of base conversations where they seek Ike's help in a wargame that they play with each other. In ''Radiant Dawn'', Daniel resumes this function with a modified forge points system and can be given Coins to give random bonus stats to a custom weapon. He was kept within Phoenicisis Hall and was never seen onscreen. After the events of ''Radiant Dawn'', his health was restored following a ceremony conducted by Rafiel. All that is known of his later life is that he and Leanne sang songs throughout Serenes Forest to inspire those who were building the new unified bird laguz kingdom. Lillia was one of Reyson's older sisters among the heron tribe. She was believed dead during the Serenes Massacre, but in actuality she had been captured by Ashnard's men and brought to the Palmeni Temple, where they attempted to force her to awaken the "dark god" that was sleeping within Lehran's Medallion. She fell ill soon afterwards, but she formed a kinship with her caretaker [[Elena]], despite the two speaking completely different languages. Eventually she taught the song of release to Elena and convinced her to flee the temple with the medallion. She seemingly died soon afterwards, but wrote an account of her stay there on the wall.

In Chapter 25 of ''Path of Radiance'', when Tibarn leaves to help Reyson, he leaves Lotz behind to watch over Leanne and Lorazieh. However, the Black Knight chooses this time to strike and despite Leanne's attempts to warn Lotz (which he cannot understand), he is fatally attacked from behind, and the Black Knight proceeds to capture Leanne. Tibarn discovers him upon his return and with his last words Lotz describes what has happened.

Misaha was the former apostle of Begnion who plays an important role in the backstory of the games. She was most well-known for initiating the emancipation of laguz slaves, which was a great step forward in beorc-laguz relations. However, she was soon visited by her ancestor Lehran, who wanted to help the laguz who were suffering under beorc. Meeting him caused Misaha to change her mind about the mixed blood running through her veins. She had always been careful to hide her Brand and afraid of what would happen if others discovered it, but meeting Lehran had given her pride and she intended to reveal it to the public.

Before Misaha could do so, she was assassinated by the senators, with the assassination being blamed on the laguz. It is uncertain if this was because they found out she was going public with her Brand or as retaliation for freeing the laguz slaves. Muston is the leader of the traveling convoy of merchants appearing in both games and runs the weapons shop. They begin traveling with the Greil Mercenaries in Chapter 8 of ''Path of Radiance'' for protection and at the end of the game they set off for Daein. Within ''Radiant Dawn'', they first appear at the end of Chapter 1-3 after the Dawn Brigade saves Ilyana and Aimee from prison, and the merchants accompany them for the remainder of Part 1. They are later called in to help the Laguz Alliance Army in Part 3. In Part 4, the merchants split up with the armies and Muston winds up traveling with the Dawn Army. In a base conversation for Part 4 Prologue he gives Micaiah a Rexbolt tome for free, saying that not only were they their only customers with the rest of the world turned to stone, but that he believed in them and that they could make things right.

Nico was a young boy living in Nevassa who idolized the Dawn Brigade and first appeared at the end of ''Radiant Dawn'''s prologue. In Chapter 1-1 he is among the mass of villagers who stall the Begnion soldiers in order for the Dawn Brigade to escape, but Nico is hit with an arrow when the archers begin shooting into the crowd. Micaiah returns after sensing this and uses Sacrifice to heal him. He makes a brief return appearance in a base conversation for Chapter 3-12, where he expresses his belief in Micaiah and the Dawn Brigade.

Ramon was the king of Crimea for thirty years and was known for his wisdom. He helped to improve beorc-laguz relations by establishing an alliance with the beast nation of Gallia. He had a daughter, Elincia, late in life, after his brother Renning had already been named heir. In order to avoid an inheritance dispute, Elincia was kept a secret from the public disclosed only to the rulers of the other nations. She left their bedridden father for another man due to being unable to cope with the stress of raising two children while looking over the sick father. She later claimed that she regretted her decision and thought of them each and every day. Rolf's mother appears briefly in ''Radiant Dawn'', where she appears in a small home in Mugill in Chapter 3-1, where she shows a paranoid fear of laguz and will give a seraph robe to normal visitors. If Rolf visits, he notices a strange similarity in the woman and she tries to give him a gift, but he coldly refuses it.

If the third event occurred, she would then visit the Laguz Alliance's camp in a Chapter 3-2 base conversation wanting to see Rolf, but Boyd and Oscar treat her coldly. Soan is a laguz warrior of the beast tribe who lived during the time of the great flood and was a lion laguz. He was one of the three great heroes who, with Altina and Dheginsea, defeated Yune. He afterwards became the second king of Begnion, although the American version instead says he was the second king of the beast tribe laguz. It is implied that the Branded swordsman Stefan is his descendant due to his title of "Lion-Blooded" and his Japanese name having Soan's name in it.
