'''Careening Dirigibugs''' are unusual creatures that float on balloon-like air sacs and toss bomb rocks.

==Information== 

A strange creature that floats through the air through gas-filled sacs that resemble four colorful balloons. Unlike other creatures, like yellow pikmin and volatile dweevils, it is able to form bomb rocks with its long arms and from its mouth. It then carries these bomb rocks in its arms until it drops it on its enemy. Although dangerous from above, if an enemy is able to attack it and pop its air sacs, it will quickly plummet to the ground where it becomes helpless. Remarkably, however, it is able to reinflate its air sacs as if no harm had come to them. 

So far it is the only know variant of the species in the ecosystem seen so far. Currently it is speculated that it may be an alien creature that wandered into the ecosystem, though this has yet to be proved. So far it has only been found inside underground areas and has not been encountered above ground.

*Its behavior seems remarkably similar to [[Tingle]] (of Zelda fame), especially in [[The Wind Waker]]. 
*The Careening Dirigibug is worth four pokos, but needs only three pikmin to carry. 
*Louie's Cooking Notes: Pull off the balloonlike air sacs, mince the meaty abdomen. and shape it into small cakes. Pan-sear the cakes until crusted, but be careful not to overcook the delicate meat. When ready to serve, garnish the plate with vibrant air sacs. Even the most discerning dinner guests will be dazzled by the colorful presentation!
