Golden Candypop Buds will instantly turn any Pikmin into a Yellow Pikmin.  The first one can be found in the Forest Navel before the arena with the Beady Long Legs.  Ones can also be found in the Distant Spring and the Final Trial.  In Pikmin 2, Golden Candypop Buds are the most elusive of the bunch--they are only found in one cave.  A [[Candypop Bud#Queen Candypop Bud|Queen Candypop Bud]] will also produce Yellow Pikmin if its spots are yellow when a Pikmin is thrown in.
