Lapis Lazuli Candypop Buds will turn Pikmin into Blue Pikmin after they've been thrown into it.  Two of these appear on opposite ends of the Distant Spring.  A third can also be found in the Final Trial.  In Pikmin 2, Lapis Lazuli Candypop Buds are found in three caves, making them the most common of the original three.  A [[Candypop Bud#Queen Candypop Bud|Queen Candypop Bud]] will also produce Blue Pikmin if its spots are blue when a Pikmin is thrown in.
