Beltino was the father of Slippy Toad and an engineer for Airspace Dynamics where he worked on many different weapons. He co-designed the Blue Marine with his son, Slippy. Due to his position in the Cornerian Army, he interacted heavily with Star Fox during the Aparoid invasion in Star Fox Assault. Over the course of the war, he discovered a weakness in the Aparoids' genetic makeup as well as a way to exploit it to destroy them all at once. Thanks to this, Star Fox and Star Wolf were able to defeat the Aparoid threat.

The father of Slippy Toad and previously (and presumably still) an engineer for Airspace Dynamics where he worked on many different weapons (possibly one being the Arwing). He also co-designed the Blue Marine with his son, Slippy. Due to his position in the Cornerian Army, he interacted heavily with Star Fox during the Aparoid invasion. Over the course of the war he discovered a weakness in the Aparoids' genetic makeup as well as a way to exploit it to destroy them all at once. Thanks to this, Star Fox and Star Wolf were able to defeat the Aparoid threat.

Years later, Beltino had his difficulties with the Anglar invasion while being stationed at the Asteroid Belt in Star Fox Command. Eventually, Fox, Slippy, and Falco showed up to wipe out the Anglars. While they were there, Beltino was able to bring them up to date on the Anglar forces and the secret device that Andross had left on Titania. In two of the game's endings, Slippy settled down with Amanda Toad and had children, giving Beltino grandchildren.
