1080° Snowboarding is a snowboarding game for the Nintendo 64. Along with much critical acclaim, the game won the Interactive Achievement Award from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences

Gameplay

In 1080° Snowboarding, the player gets to snowboard. There are seven different modes, each with their own objectives. Match Mode has the player race on a series of courses. In Time Attack, the player tries to beat a course's best time. The player must try for a high score in Trick Attack. Contest Mode has a slalom for the player to go through. 2P VS lets two players play against one another. Finally, Training lets the player practice snowboarding.

Legacy

Snowboarder Kensuke Kimachi appears in Super Smash Bros. Melee as a trophy.

Sequels

1080° Snowboarding was followed by 1080° Avalanche.
