PAON is a second party company of Nintendo and have worked primarily with the Donkey Kong series since 2005. They also absorbed developers from and the rights to the games of third party developer Data East after it went bankrupt. PAON has since been rereleasing their games over the Virtual Console as well as continuing their Hercules no Eiko series, with the first one they made being the first one that will be released in America. PAON has also contributed to the development of Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
