The scenario involves [[Mario]] is baking cookies while [[Yoshi]] is waiting to be fed. The player moves a cursor around, dragging rows or columns, in order to match up same types of cookies. More cookies come in from the top and right of the play area, acting as a timer. When a complete row or column is made, it will disappear off the screen, and any new cookies will be pushed back. The stage is cleared when all of the cookies have been eaten by Yoshi.
