'''Stoutland''' is a large dog-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the third and final stage of [[Lillipup]]'s evolutionary line.

=Information=

Stoutland evolves from [[Herdier]] at Level 32. It is a larger Pokémon with shaggy fur which protects it from harsh temperatures. It is known for being extremely wise and for being excellent at rescuing people trapped in the mountains or at sea. Because of its fur, it is even capable of rescuing people in the middle of blizzards.

*In the Pokémon anime, Stoutland was featured as one of Burgundy's Pokémon starting in the Battle Club episodes, where it was defeated by Ash's [[Palpitoad]]. Stoutland also made a minor appearance in the fifteenth movie, where it was used as a sled dog.
*In the ''Pokémon Adventures'' manga, Stoutland was one of the main Pokémon that [[Lenora]] used for her gym battle with Black in the ''Black''/''White'' arc. She had a strategy where she had [[Patrat]] check the trainer's other [[Poké Ball]], then she had Stoutland use Roar to force the trainer into switching to the Pokémon which Stoutland had an advantage over, which in Black's case was [[Braviary]]. Black turned the tables on the strategy to take out Patrat, but Stoutland was still able to defeat the Braviary. The battle ended with Stoutland and [[Musha]] taking each other out at the same time with respective Take Down and Zen Headbutt attacks, although Lenora declared that Stoutland had hit the ground first so Black won.

*Its name seems to be a combination of "stout" (which refers to its bulky build) with "land" (as it is a synonym for terra, which is the source of the name for the dog "terrier").
