*In the Super Smash Bros. series, Shaymin made a cameo appearance in the background of the Unova Pokémon League stage that was seen in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It would be seen in its Land Forme, then it would change into its Sky Forme and fly away. Shaymin has also been represented by a trophy in the 3DS game and two stages of a Primary Spirit in Ultimate. Its initial Spirit was an Ace-rank Spirit of its Land Forme. When brought up to Level 99, the Spirit could be enhanced into a Legend-rank Spirit of its Sky Forme, which also enhanced jumping ability. When fought against in a Spirit battle, Shaymin's Spirit would possess Ivysaur in a battle where the player took gradual damage from the flowery effect.
