*One episode of the first season of the Pokémon anime featured a Mankey that stole Ash's hat, and Ash's attempts to get it back. Partway through the episode, it evolved into a Primeape. One Johto episode also showed a Mankey as part of a gang with a Primeape and [[Tyrogue]]. Aside from that, Mankey has made primarily minor appearances.
