'''Lillipup''' is a puppy-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation Pokémon games. It is the first of a three-stage evolutionary line, with its evolved forms being [[Herdier]] and [[Stoutland]].

=Information=

Lillipup is a young but intelligent Pokémon that is known for standing up to stronger opponents with great courage. However, they have been known to flee when at a disadvantage in battle. The long hair around Lillipup's face also acts as a type of radar which allows it to detect subtle changes in its environment.

It evolves into [[Herdier]] at Level 16.

*In the Pokémon anime, Lillipup was shown as one of [[Lenora]]'s Pokémon and was able to defeat Ash's [[Tepig]] in battle. Lenora instead uses a [[Herdier]] during their rematch, and while the dubbed version has her state that it evolved from the Lillipup, this fact was not implied in the original Japanese version.
*In the ''Pokémon Adventures'' manga, a Lillipup was shown during the ''Black''/''White'' arc as one of the Pokémon actors from White's BW Agency.

*It's name seems to be a combination of either "li'l" (the abbreviation for little) or lilliputian (which refers to a small person or creature) with "pup".
